Academic Success
The academic success of Diocesan students is consistently one of the highest in New Zealand. Our results in NCEA are exemplary and frequently commented upon by ERO.
At all levels of the NCEA, Diocesan students achieve well above the national average, with over a 93% pass rate in each of the three levels, well above the national standard. Our scholarship results are one of the highest in Auckland. All students who select to do scholarship are supported by a programme of philosophy and extra tuition classes.
Academic Support
Support is available from a number of areas within the school: the tutors, the deans, the Centre for Enhanced Learning and the Senior Leadership Team.

Information Technology
Students from Year 8 purchase their own notebook computer to assist in, and enhance, their learning at Diocesan. In today’s world a notebook computer and an internet connection are a primary intellectual tool. Students will use a variety of software applications and be involved in a wide range of learning experiences in every subject that would not otherwise be possible.
Each year the school provides parents with the opportunity to purchase a notebook computer for their daughters at substantially discounted prices. Included with the school recommended notebook is a comprehensive warranty and insurance contract. Parents are notified of the arrangements the school has made regarding supply of notebook computers around the beginning of November each year (for the following academic year).
