Admissions Process and Entry Criteria

For full details on admission requirements and entry criteria, click here to download an International Student Application Form. The application form, a photocopy of the student's passport, copy of the student's birth certificate, certified school reports, references and certificates are required to make an application.

International students are interviewed and tested. Suitability of this school and study options for the student are discussed at the interview. For any further information please contact our Director of International Students, Mrs Simone Clark.

Student Placement

On acceptance and in consultation with the student, students are placed at an appropriate academic level. This placement is determined by the student’s academic ability, course content previously covered and age.

Qualifications

Students at Diocesan School for Girls study towards the National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA). The NCEA is New Zealand's main secondary school qualification under the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).

Diocesan also offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
