About us

The League primarily operates as a friend raising organisation but also contributes financially to the School in various ways annually. On average this contribution amounts at present to approximately $120,000 per annum.
Old Girls, whether financial members or not, are represented and enthusiastically contributing to every part of the School family, including the Board, the staff, and the parents. Wherever it is possible to volunteer Old Girls are to the fore.
The OGL organises a number of events and reunions throughout the year, details of which can be found under the Events & Reunions section.
We love to hear news of all old girls and encourage you to email oldgirls@diocesan.school.nz to advise of graduation news, marriages, births and any other points of interest.
The League Committee runs a number of events annually including:
| • |
Bryan Bartley Golf Day, usually held in March |
| • |
Alumnae Meritae Assembly and Lunch, usually held in June (this special event honours exceptional Old Girls of all ages at a full School assembly) |
| • |
Chapel Festival in August |
| • |

| • |

We also assist with Old Girls planning year reunions when possible, although we have limited capacity to do as much in this area as we would like at present.
