Uniform Shop
The League Committee has run the Uniform Shop for the School since the year 2000. The shop is managed by a paid Manager and Assistants and is a significant business with a turnover of in excess of $600,000. It takes a major commitment from our voluntary Committee to manage the Shop, often the first point of contact for new pupils and their families.
The shop provides all School Uniform items for all 1500 or so girls except shoes. The profits from the Uniform Shop are divided 60/40 between the School and the League. The School’s share is put into the Heritage Foundation and the League’s share is retained within its Charitable Trust and used to fund our scholarship programme. These scholarships which encompass hardship, academic excellence, the arts, Spirit of Adventure berths, boarding and prestigious prizes such as the Eliza Edwards and Mary Pulling Awards, contribute between $45,000-$50,000 per annum to the School community.
