Parents and Friends
Parents and Friends Association
The Diocesan Parents and Friends’ Association is a voluntary school organisation whose members are active within the vibrant Diocesan School community. It was founded to support the School in its many endeavours, and to provide opportunities to enhance our students’ experience at this outstanding school. The Committee's vision embraces the School's future development, its progress and commitment to excellence. Through your payment of the annual subscription, you are a full member of the Parents and Friends’ Association, and are warmly invited and encouraged to attend the Annual General Meeting.
Parents and Friends Association Committee
We are very fortunate to have a group of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers on the Parents and Friends’ Committee. We encourage any members interested in assisting the committee to contact the Secretary, Lyndsey Partridge at pfa@diocesan.school.nz.
The Parents and Friends’ Committee provides a number of opportunities for members of the school community to get together and share common interests, including:

School Cafeteria
The cafeteria is a successful Parents and Friends’ initiative providing nutritious and healthy food for the Junior, Middle and Senior Schools as well as the Diocesan staff. It is also a significant friend-raising activity involving 200+ parent volunteers who work under the guidance of Jenny Charles and her team. The cafeteria offers, at a subsidised cost, a varied menu of fresh and healthy food which is prepared daily. Our girls not only benefit from the menu selection but from the funds raised through the cafeteria which are directed back to supporting the students of Dio. The café is open for breakfast, morning tea, lunch and after-school bites.
