Teacher in Charge of Mandarin
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Mandarin Teacher to provide curriculum and programme leadership as Teacher-In-Charge of Mandarin in our Languages Department, starting in Term1 of 2011. Mandarin will be taught in years 7-13 NCEA and in the IB Diploma; training will be provided if needed.
The Teacher-In-Charge of Mandarin will be expected to keep abreast of developments and research and to share information with their colleagues to the benefit of the School. Preference will be given to those candidates with proven leadership skills. Applicants must hold current NZ teacher registration.
