House System
All students belong to one of eight School Houses that have their own colours, badge and motto, and are comprised of students across all year levels. The girls belong to the same House throughout their studies at Diocesan and participate in inter-house challenges that include different sports competitions and activities in music, dance and debating.
Students gain points for their House throughout the year and at the end of each year the House that has accumulated the highest number of points overall is awarded the Stark Cup. The friendly rivalry and interaction across different age groups allows for confidence-building and leadership opportunities, and the involvement of staff and tutor groups provides the setting for collaboration and strong relationships to form.
