The Pastoral Care Team

The team consists of the Deputy Principal - Pastoral Care, Assistant Principal Pastoral Care, Year Level Deans and Tutors, a Counsellor, an International Dean, the Careers staff, the Chaplaincy team, Centre for Enhanced Learning staff and the School Nurses.

Deans and Tutors

Each year level has a Dean who is the primary link between the parents and the School. The Dean provides leadership and guidance for all students in their year level.

All students will be in a House-based tutor group with other students from their year group.

The Tutor meets daily with the girls and takes responsibility for student well-being and individual goal setting.

Counsellor

Diocesan recognises that student wellbeing impacts on academic learning and offers confidential support.

The school has two full time counsellors available for students and their families. Students may also be referred to outside agencies for more specific support.

Health Centre

Diocesan employs a registered nurse to run the Health Centre. The nurse has an overview of any illness or accident that may occur to a student and makes appropriate arrangements in consultation with parents.
