During the weekend 22/23 May, the Dio equestrian team had six girls competing at the North Island Secondary Schools’ Eventing Championships in Taupo. Dio had two teams competing over three disciplines: dressage, show jumping and cross country at two different jump heights, 95cm and 80cm. All points combine from each team, which result in the school’s overall result.

The 80cm team of Annabelle Scott (10SE) and Millie Sanderson (9CO) finished third in the 80cm category.

The 95cm team of Brooke Chandler (11MI), Victoria Boot (11NE), Amelia Munro (11RO) and Mackenzie Marlo (11MI) finished second overall in the North Island.
