Congratulations to Charlie Barclay, Ella Ross and Sophie Ryan on their selection into the North Island U-18 rowing team!

These three girls along with Serena Bhindi, Jasmine Ireland and Natalie Kirke trialled for the North Island team over three days in the holidays. Following the trial, Charlie, Ella and Sophie were selected to compete against the South Island U-18 team following a training camp. Charlie and Ella raced in the U-18 pair and eight, while Sophie coxed the U-18 girls’ quad. All girls achieved second place in their races against some strong South Island crews. Well done to all the competitors!
