Dio Old Girl, Professor Margaret Brimble, has just became the first New Zealand woman to be elected as a fellow to the world’s oldest and most prestigious scientific academy, the Royal Society of London. She will be travelling to London to sign the same fellow book that Charles Darwin, Isaac Newton, Stephen Hawking, Albert Einstein and Ernest Rutherford have all signed.

Such an incredible achievement, and what an inspiration for other young kiwi women interested in careers in science.
