Our Year 12 student, Georgia Skelton, has just returned from representing NZ at the Junior World Mountain Bike Orienteering Champs in Austria.
Congratulations to Year 12 student Georgia Skelton who represented NZ at the Junior World Mountain Bike Orienteering Champs in Austria.
Georgia came 4th in the Middle (90 seconds off the bronze) and 6th in Sprint (only 28 seconds off a medal). The World Champs recognises top 6 so Georgia was able to make the podium twice which is impressive considering she still has 3 more years in the W20 grade.
Georgia is only the second Kiwi junior ever to make the podium at a World MTBO Champs. Well done Georgia!
