Despite some very wet conditions, the Dio 7’s had a great day, finishing fourth overall.

Later in the week, the sun came out for our Dio 8’s and Year 7 and 8 A teams.

The Dio 8’s had a short day, with only two games, and were enthusiastic sideline supporters of the other Dio team while they weren’t playing.

The Year 7 and 8 A team had a great start, winning their pool and moving through to the Top 8.

A win in the quarter-finals moved them through to the Top 4. Their semi-final against Mt Roskill was a close game, and the team narrowly missed out on the win after a penalty shoot-out. They finished an outstanding fourth out of 15 teams.
