Our Dio Fencing Team of Vanessa Huang, Bowie Wang, Joanna Chen, and Wendy Chen, had a successful Winter Tournament Week, winning Gold in the Teams Foil Competition.
They qualified for the NZSS Nationals event during the Northern Secondary Schools Teams Foil Competition earlier in the year, where they claimed the title of Women’s Foil Team Champions for the fourth year in a row.
In the Individual Women’s Foil event, Bowie Wang won Silver, and our Code Captain, Vanessa Huang, won Bronze.
