Four Dio students headed to Tūroa to compete in the North Island Secondary School Ski and Snowboard Championships.
Anna Yuan (Year 11) claimed silver in the Senior Girls’ Giant Slalom, an impressive achievement as the youngest of 30 competitors in the event.
Coco Bayley (Year 10) also secured a silver medal in the Junior Girls’ Giant Slalom, while Freya Maclean (Year 10) finished an excellent fourth and Maggie Kirkpatrick (Year 10) sixth in a highly competitive field of 55.
