We are StarStitch, a fashion brand founded by three Year 13 students from Diocesan School for Girls. We create hand-stitched hoodies that blend style, sustainability, and meaning.
Each hoodie features three star patches, representing the loved ones we’ve each lost to cancer. Inspired by the Māori belief that loved ones who have passed on become stars in the night sky, our designs honour those who’ve passed before us.
We upcycle pre-loved materials from op shops, making each hoodie one-of-a-kind and eco-conscious. Every stitch is done by us, with care and attention to detail.
