At Senior School we believe education is about independence, a thirst for knowledge and a worldview underpinned by respect for others and curiosity about the world around us.
Our students have the unique opportunity to choose from two education pathways, both of which offer a wide range of subjects to suit the individual interests and strengths of each girl. Whichever path they choose, every students will learn Ethics and Philosophy to help her develop a deeper understanding of critical thinking.
We are immensely proud of our excellent NCEA results across all levels for 2023. Diocesan had 98% of girls achieving University Entrance, which is more than double the National Average. Diocesan girls aim to be the best they can be and it is also the rates of endorsements of which we are so proud. Almost all girls across the three levels have their certificate endorsed with merit or excellence.
