The IB Middle Years Programme

Diocesan School for Girls offers the Middle Years Programme (MYP). We are an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School.

We deliver the New Zealand Curriculum through the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework as follows:

• Dio offers the IB programme within our Junior School (via PYP or Primary Years Programme)
• Dio offers the IB programme within our Junior High School (via MYP or Middle Year Programme)
• Dio offers the IB programme within our Senior School (via the IB Diploma – which is an option offered alongside the NCEA option)

The IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) in the Junior High School is an holistic, internationally benchmarked and age appropriate curriculum framework focusing on intellectual challenge through which we teach the content of the New Zealand Curriculum.
