Our annual exchange was a friendly yet fiercely competitive day, where students proudly represented their schools in their chosen events. Whether competing on the field or cheering from the sidelines, it was a day all students looked forward to.

This year, the atmosphere was elevated by performances from both school choirs—a beautiful interlude amidst the action—and a spirited debate between our team and Waikato Dio. The Moot: “This House believes that happiness is best achieved by renouncing ambition.” Dio argued in affirmation, while Waikato presented the opposing view, showcasing the intellectual talent from both schools.

The day featured 11 events, beginning with the U15A Hockey match and concluding with a thrilling Premier Netball game. All matches were played with impressive skill and sportsmanship, but it was the nail-biting, goal-for-goal finish in Premier Netball that sealed the deal—securing the shield for Auckland once again.

We look forward to continuing this treasured tradition next year when we travel to Waikato Dio for the next chapter of this special exchange.
