On 17 June, our Year 7 and 8 AIMS Hockey team proudly represented Dio at the Auckland Central Zones, held at North Harbour Hockey Stadium.
The team demonstrated impressive skill, teamwork, and determination as they competed against five schools, including Mt Roskill, Waikowhai, Marist, Kowhai, and St Cuthbert’s.
In an exciting final match, the team secured a well-earned 4–2 victory over St Cuthbert’s.
This outstanding result is a fantastic confidence boost and sets a positive tone as the team prepares for the AIMS Games later this year.
