Auctioneers must have a high level of quick thinking and the ability to work out mathematical calculations, so that the competing purchasers know where they are at, and owners know that the best deal is being pursued.

Seven Diocesan students took part in this event and we were delighted to learn that Year 13 student Faith Tupuhi is the New Zealand Auctioneering Champion for 2022. Congratulations Faith for taking on this challenge and demonstrating the multiple skills required to win this award.
