To honour and celebrate the vibrant diversity within our school community, this year’s Culture Night – a celebration of culture, identity, community, and unity – was organised by School Culture Prefect Yeshvi Kamdar, Deputies Katrina Hit and Sophie Lockyer, with the help of their council and staff mentor, Anna Dykgraaf.
The night featured an incredible range of music and dance performances, showcasing cultures far and wide, including Māori, Chinese, Indian, Korean, Thai, Samoan, Tongan, Irish, and more. And for the first time ever, Dio staff took to the stage and performed, adding to the energy and excitement of the evening!
The event was a true reflection of the incredible time and effort invested by our students. Their commitment and hard work shone through in the seamless execution of the night’s program, making it an evening to cherish for all who attended. A huge thank you to all the students and staff whose contributions made Culture Night such a success.
Meitaki ma’ata, Fa’afetai lava, Dhanyavaad, Gamsahabnida, K̄hxbkhuṇ, Xièxiè and Ngā mihi nui.
