With standards rising year on year, it becomes harder for the selection panel to chose finalists. With over 50 entries this year, the panel chose 23 finalists from Year 7-13.
Both audience and the adjudicator, international opera singer Katherine Wiles, were blown away by the stylistic performances from all these young vocalists. The repertoire on display was challenging and the adjudicator commented on the sophisticated and poised performances.
