Back in July of this year, the Diocesan Fencing ‘A’ team qualified for NZSS Nationals by winning the Northern Region Teams’ Foil Competition.

The National Secondary Schools Fencing Championships were held on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 August at Wellington High School. Dio had four experienced Fencers compete in this event: Alice Sharpe, Vanessa Huang, Joanna Chen and Wendy Chen.

The girls did extremely well and picked up a Bronze Medal. We are so proud of them!
