Despite having never debated before, they showcased confidence, creativity, and sharp argumentation. Their preparation in Dio’s debating club, guided by Isobella Baggeley and Violet Tucker, clearly paid off, as they engaged with enthusiasm and intellectual verve.

- Lucy Walter
- Hedy Qin
They delivered a stellar performance throughout the day. With poise and passion, they argued their way to the top, ultimately emerging as the overall winners of the tournament. As the saying goes in sporting circles, they truly “left it all out on the pitch.”
