Last week the Diocesan Premier Lacrosse team competed in their final game in Pukekohe at a Lacrosse tournament and received bronze. The team had a very special culture of support and encouragement. Their ability to give and receive peer-to-peer feedback and the overall encouragement they showed each other throughout the game was incredible. The sight of the Senior and Junior members engaging as equals during the intense competition was inspiring.

Thank you to coach Mikayla O’Brien, team manager Juliet Kirk, sport manager Amanda Stuart, captain Alex Brewer and our wonderful Kate Burkin for fostering such a positive environment for the girls to succeed. We particularly enjoyed the Glee sing-along on the way home.

We look forward to following your results at the Auckland Championship Day and National Championships coming up over the next few weeks.
