During the last week of the April school holidays, our Dio orienteering team competed at the North Island Orienteering Championships, held in Palmerston North.

Code Captain Lucy Russ (12RO) finished 7^th in the Sprint event and 8^th in the Long event.

Year 7 Aless Nicholson finished 6^th in the Sprint, despite losing one shoe around the course.

Intermediate age group runners Amelia McIntosh (10MP) and Sienna Payne (10MP) raced in the senior relay team with Lucy Russ. After running an extraordinary race, they finished in second place overall.
