Congratulations to all the Drama students who showcased their exceptional talent at this year's SGCNZ Sheliah Winn Shakespeare regional festival, hosted at Avondale College.
These budding thespians embarked on a remarkable journey, selecting, directing, and crafting original interpretations of Shakespearean scenes, captivating the audience with their passion and finesse.
Among the standout performances were those from Imogen Cullen, Ella Bosselmann, Sabine Messer-Goodall, Emily Wackrow, and Joia Jackson, whose brilliance illuminated the stage.
The judges were thoroughly impressed, noting how the girls “truly embodied their roles with heart and soul.”
Special recognition goes to Sabine Messer-Goodall and Emily Young for their exceptional portrayal of Emilia and Desdemona from “Othello,” earning them the prestigious award for Best Communication Between Two Actors.
