Year 10 student Christine Aixinjueluo will represent New Zealand in an international figure skating competition, (the Asian Open Trophy 2023) in Bangkok, Thailand from August 16-19. Christine has also been named as the substitute skater for the ISU Junior Grand Prix Bangkok 2023, which is the top figure skating competition in the world for juniors from August 23-36 in Bangkok.

Figure skating is Christine’s passion and this event presents a remarkable opportunity to showcase her skills and dedication. She faced her biggest athletic challenge this year moving up to the junior women’s level for the first time and she’s earned the chance to go even further. Best of luck Christine!
