Dio Students Perform at KBB Music Festival
Dio students performed at the largest instrumental festival for secondary students in Australasia.

Last week, the largest instrumental festival for secondary students in Australasia happened over a week at Holy Trinity Cathedral. With over 4000 students and 144 groups representing over 52 schools, our ensembles performed from Monday through to a Saturday Gala. Students moved between the venues and never missed a beat!

Dio entered the sixth group, and two combined with Dilworth. These groups range from fledgling players to some hard-hitting seniors. The results over the weekend at the Gala Awards were fantastic. Dio groups were awarded three outstanding trophies and were invited to perform at the Gala on Saturday evening.
