Our premier swimmers travelled to Wellington during July’s School Holidays to compete in the New Zealand Secondary Schools Swimming Championships. This swim meet is one of the few meets athletes can compete in to represent their schools, so it’s a special one in the swimming calendar. The girls had lots of successes, achieved some Personal Bests and represented Diocesan with pride. Their results are listed below:

Eva Allan – Gold 50m Freestyle, 100m Freestyle, 200m Freestyle and Silver in 400m Freestyle and 50m Butterfly

Alex Campion – Gold 100m Breaststroke, Silver 100m Individual Medley, 200m Breaststroke, 50m Breaststroke and Bronze in 200m Individual Medley

Grace Jeromson – Silver 50m Breaststroke and Bronze 200m Breaststroke, 100m Breaststroke

Xanthe Miller – Bronze 200m Butterfly
