Over 20 Dio athletes recently competed in the College Sport Auckland Duathlon Championships held at Pukekohe Park. Our athletes delivered exceptional performances, showcasing their dedication and competitive spirit.
Our Intermediate group, consisting of one individual athlete and six teams, gave it their all and were outstanding Dio representatives. Hannah McManus and Lily James came 2nd, and Sophie Pearce and Annabelle Judd came a close 3rd.
Indie Williams, in the Individuals category, had an amazing race, taking out 1st place.
In the Junior category, we had three teams and two individuals. Our athletes excelled with Dio teams achieving a clean sweep on the podium. Abi Bethell and Mika James placed 1st, Lucinda Day and Pippa Forman took 2nd place, and Ava Carey and Lucy Forman came 3rd.
