In advance, the school uploaded all our documentation into a file to facilitate their review. They focused on teaching and learning for the first day with whirlwind visits to classrooms. The second day focused on the boarding facility and the third day they visited international students and examined the extensive compliance requirements involved. They reported back to our senior team along with Jenny Spillane the board chair.

Aroha and Emma especially wanted to thank all the staff involved and to pass on their thanks for being so accommodating during the short week.  In short, they loved the school and confirmed that we have great teachers,  excellent systems, amazing support people who are fully across their areas and we meet all compliance requirements.  The reviewers commented on the school’s excellent review systems to continually learn and improve as evidenced by  annual planning that has kept the school at the forefront of change.  They also commented on our proactive approach to AI initiatives in ways that are maximising efficiency and protecting academic integrity.

The reviewers also spoke to a variety of students across age groups who said they feel safe and are able to achieve to their best through the many opportunities provided.   While it is a snapshot, the feedback was superb.  We will receive the final report in a month’s time which will only report on the compliance framework for private schools.
