Caitlin Caird earned the honour of representing Diocesan School for Girls in a competition against eleven other schools at the Remuera Lion’s Club Junior Speechmakers competition on Tuesday 12 September.

Caitlin’s chosen performance involved delivering a monologue from a character in the book “Holes”. After patiently enduring four hours of listening to other speeches and awaiting her turn, Caitlin showcased her monologue with exceptional acting skills, resulting in resounding success. Caitlin emerged as the first-place winner, securing the prestigious award.
