This year Dio has nine Badminton teams (over 50 students) from Years 9-13 participating in the College Sport/Auckland Badminton Association Central Zone competition in Terms 2 and 3.
Congratulations to three of our Dio Badminton teams on their excellent results in the Term 2 College Sport Badminton Competition. Our Dio Premier team plays in the Advanced Grade on Tuesdays. They had a clean sweep and won all their games, which earned them a Gold Medal.
Well done to Evelyn Liu (12CO), Sofia Castro (12RO), Sarah Chen (9MI), and Sarah Yu (9NE).
In the Wednesday Girls Social Grade Competition, Our Dio Crimson Team also won a Gold Medal (they won all their games), and our Dio Yellow team won a Silver Medal (they also won all their games – except one game, which they lost to Dio Crimson!).
