We are so fortunate. We take for granted the ability to become educated – a gift that some women around the world are denied.  Educating women for one more year can enhance the economic growth of a country and for us this is even more enhanced by providing an environment where young women can be leaders in their own style. As Michelle Obama said “When girls are educated, their countries become stronger and more prosperous.”

The all-girls environment at Diocesan is particularly impressive – it is an enabler that frees students from age old social and gender stereotypes and launches them into a future that they have the confidence to create.  For women, education is our superpower.  We wish the women role models in our community, our alumnae, our colleagues, mothers, and professionals from all walks of life, a fantastic International Women’s Day.  Long may we keep educating our women to become more than they ever imagined.  Ut Serviamus.
