House Music Day is always eagerly awaited and hotly contested by the Senior School Houses. This year House Music was held on 4 July and the costumes and performances certainly did not disappoint!
This year, the theme for the own choice was ‘a song with a person’s name in the title.’ We saw lots of creativity, and songs included Honey Honey by Abba, Billie Jean, Valerie, Mamma Mia, and Moves like Jagger. Each house also performed a dance to the same tune and sang a hymn, contributing to the overall results.
The overall winner of House Music 2024 was Mitchelson, marking their first victory in several years. The winner of the dance was Mitchelson, the winner of the hymn was Cowie, and the winner of the own choice song was Cochrane.
