On 18 June, we welcomed a group of students from Huntley Intermediate for a sports exchange with our Year 7 and 8 Hockey teams and Year 8 Netball team, as part of their preparation for the upcoming AIMS Games in Mount Maunganui this September.
For many students, it was their first experience of a school sports exchange — a valuable opportunity to build confidence, teamwork, and competitive spirit. Our Hockey team delivered a strong performance, securing a 2–0 win, with goals scored by Zara Askew and Honor Hodson. The Year 8 Netball team played an exciting, closely contested match, narrowly falling short with a final score of 25–28.
