Over 150 groups entered the northern heats and only 10 groups were selected for the regionals.

Ella Zhang’s Flute Trio – Chiron Junior, won first place.

We also had Angel Tao and Ella Zhang performing in the Debussy Trio, and both these groups have been selected for the National Finals in Wellington in August.

These are outstanding results, and we are very proud of these high-performing Junior High School musicians. Ella is the youngest Dio musician in the history of Dio to be selected for nationals in two groups.
