Over two days in April, 14 intrepid Dio orienteers braved mud and drizzle to compete in the North Island Orienteering Champs.
As always in orienteering, there were the frustrations of mis-punches, and getting lost to deal with.
The girls showed amazing resilience and perseverance, whilst having a wonderful time.
Huge congratulations to the Year 7 and 8 relay team, Ellie Cumberland, Abbie To and Flora Oskam-Stevens, for their second place. Flora had a very exciting sprint finish, completing her course just three seconds ahead of the St Cuthbert’s team.
