Here is a summary of our 2022  Scholar Awards

Alex Graney – the Academic Council prefect introduced former student and Alumna Merita Sheryl Tan. Sheryl shared her journey into a medical career as a neuroscientist that demonstrated her drive to give back to others.

There were an outstanding 52 girls from Level 1 with a grade point average of 90 or more across all subjects who were recognized as Silver Scholars.

In Level 2 there were 31 girls who were Silver or Gilded Scholars, students receiving their first or second awards with a 90 grade-point average across their subjects.

There were three gold awards for students who achieved three New Zealand scholarships or a score of 40 or more in the International Baccalaureate examinations. They were:  Sunny Zhang, Erica Hu, and Amie Cummack.

Sunny Zhang Sunny received her award for her four scholarship passes in 2022, in Biology, Chemistry, Statistics and Calculus. Amie is studying a conjoint BSc/BA at University of Auckland. She is unsure of her majors but this year she is taking papers in Biology, Biomedical Science, Ancient History, Physics, Anthropology, and Psychology, along with the Science Scholars programme.
