School Prefects 2025
This year Lotosina Tavui has been appointed as the Head Prefect and Ivy Barrington is the Deputy Head Prefect. They are both outstanding young women who are already highly capable leaders. We know that they will do an exceptional job of leading the Dio prefect team.

While it was announced at the Senior Prizegiving last year, the start of the year is also a great time to (re)introduce our 2025 prefects. All prefects were selected through a democratic process involving student votes, staff input, and interviews.

We also know and appreciate that not all students are highly noticeable when it comes to leadership – they are often the quiet ones who get things done behind the scenes with no fanfare. To recognise this, we appoint Honorary Prefects a little later in the year to acknowledge young women who just get on and do things. We hope that this helps students to realise that every person has leadership capability – that it is not all about being popular – it is about how you make a difference to others. This is the true meaning of Ut Serviamus – being humble and giving – making a difference for others.
