Our Junior Underwater Hockey Team recently competed at the Junior Regional Cup at West Wave. The girls played many games over two days and placed 3rd to secure a spot at the National Secondary School Cup tournament being held in September. The team selected Michaela Harding as MVP for this tournament and Olivia Tongue and Molly Hopwood-Craig were selected to trial for the Northern Under-18 team. Congratulations to our Junior Underwater Hockey team for all of your efforts and good luck in your preparation for Nationals.

The Seniors competed recently in Mt. Maunganui and placed fifth overall. Selina Yu was selected as Dio’s MVP for the tournament. Greer Newman, Lara Urwin, Mila Hopwood-Craig, Selina Yu and Rachael Griffiths were selected for the Northern Under-18 Squad.

The Junior Underwater Hockey Team members are: Sarah Bunbury, Lyla Cockle, Innes Cullinane, Sophia Grayson, Stella Grayson, Michaela Harding, Molly Hopwood-Craig, Eve Lambert, Savannah Mortimer, Emily Penrose, Olivia Tongue and Emily Wackrow.
