One Act Play Festival

Our drama girls had a hugely successful weekend at Howick at the regionals of the One Act Play Festival

Four of our nine Dio groups were selected to go to the finals in Taupo  - very impressive!!

The girls also came away with some great awards:

  • three Best Actors Awards (Melissa Uren, Lily Loveridge, Emma Parton) 
  • Best Overall Production – Breaking News
  • Best Youth Production – Anomaly
  • Best Ensemble/Dance/Movement  -  Shakers

Congratulations to Year 13 students Kennedy Howse, Ella Riley and Phoebe O’Neill whose Shakespeare scenes from the regional Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival have been selected to go through to the SCGNZ National Competition.
