With clear blue skies and beautiful winter sunshine, the conditions were perfect for exploring one of Auckland’s most iconic beaches on horseback. The intermediate-level trek gave students the opportunity to build on their riding skills, with many taking the exciting step of trotting for the first time and growing in confidence throughout the ride.

The outing was not only a chance to develop new skills but also to enjoy the outdoors, spend time with friends and experience the spectacular west coast scenery from a unique perspective.

Experiences like these are a special part of life at Innes House, offering boarders opportunities to try new activities, challenge themselves and create lasting memories beyond the classroom.
