We were fortunate enough to have the rain hold off for the duration of the event but the copious amounts of rain recently made for a very wet and muddy course.

Dio started with a bang in the Junior category with eight athletes competing. Hannah McManus and Maddie Worrall took out 1st and 2nd in the individuals, we also claimed 1st in the team of three (Hannah McManus, Maddie Worrall, Scarlett Gwin) and the team of six (Hannah McManus, Maddie Worrall, Scarlett Gwin, Laura Bowden, Tessa Lepionka, Cerys Findlow).

Our Intermediate and Senior Girls categories were ready at the start line, with some strong competition in both categories. We managed some very impressive races from all athletes including taking out 3rd in the intermediate team of three (Amy Shennan, Sophie Pearce, Sophia Haines) and 2nd in the team of six (Amy Shennan, Sophie Pearce, Sophia Haines, Sophie Sullivan, Amy Stafford, Molly Sherrard).
