The Dio Red team competed in the Year 8 competition and advanced through to the semi-finals, securing third place overall.

The Dio Blue team, a mix of Year 7 and 8 students, participated in the Year 7 competition. While their results did not count because they were a mix of year levels, they remained undefeated throughout the day.
