New Zealand Water Polo hosted the North Island Water Polo Cup in Auckland from 23 – 26 November 2023. Diocesan had two teams competing in the tournament and both played incredibly well and produced great results.

Diocesan B placed 10th overall and are looking to show great promise in Dio Water Polo in the future.

Diocesan A had an extremely tough draw and ended with a final game against St Cuthberts. The final was a battle and came down to the wire with Diocesan winning 4-3. Henrietta Yarrell-Stevenson was named Most Valuable Player of the tournament after some epic performances over the weekend.
