During Summer Tournament week, the Dio Volleyball team competed in two tournaments: the Auckland Champs and the North Islands Champs. Both competitions yielded excellent results for our Premier Volleyball team, with a fourth place finish in their division at Auckland Champs – the best result Dio has achieved in years. At North Islands, Dio placed fifth out of 19 teams in a tough group of competitors. With the guidance of their coaches Henry Lin and Jeremy Tsai, the team showcased exceptional performance during the North Islands tournament, despite it being their first time in this event.

The girls thoroughly enjoyed displaying their training and engaging in friendly competition with other schools. Notable highlights included a victory against a team they had previously lost to, demonstrating perseverance and positive energy. Overall, it was a fantastic result for our Volleyball girls, and we hope to maintain this momentum for the remainder of the season.
