Dio saw the best of both these events in the history of the school.
Students involved in both Night of Dance & KBB were exceptional and there was some very creative scheduling going on, with groups performing from Monday until Saturday at Holy Trinity Cathedral and St Mary’s, parents helped transport students between the venues, and the girls never missed a beat!
We entered six groups (another Dio first) and the results over the weekend at the Gala Awards spoke for themselves.
One of the loveliest surprises was our JHS group, ConcorDio Intermediate Strings chosen by the adjudicators as the most engaging and delightful performance across the entire festival. For such a young group of predominantly Year 7 students, they were cheered on as they performed at the Gala Concert on Saturday.
